BABY OF AMSA -Struggling preterm Baby of Amsa breathes easy now

Ms. Amsa from Ramapuram, Chennai, gave birth to a female child at a private clinic. The distressed and breathless baby was categorized under Preterm/ Respiratory Distress Syndrome, after which they were referred to a private hospital. The baby was put on Ventilator support in the ICU for 7 days. Mr. Umapathi, the father of the child, takes care of his family by working as a Tailor. As the only earning member, he could not afford the treatment cost and resorted to seeking support.

He managed to arrange part of the expenses for treatment on his own and then approached Ekam for financial help. Ekam bridged the gap and contributed to the child’s treatment. On 9/10/2017 the baby was discharged from the hospital and now, we are pleased to share that she lives a healthy, happy life
